Pulp Fiction, 9/10. Very graphic, but very well made. I’ve just recently gotten into gangster movies, and this one’s up there

Slumdog Millionare - 8/10. The themes just come off as too strong for my liking. i don’t like things being way too blatant.

Ah! This thread is perfect. I have a film blog with ratings of every movie I see theatrically: [Your Next Film Reviews…](http://dj-blackswan.blogspot.com/)

Check it out, guys!

Primal Fear 7/10

Good movie, great acting by Ed Norton

I just watched The Back-Up Plan last night, and it was pretty good.
7/10

It’s weird that this is the 2nd Jennifer Lopez movie I’ve watched in a row… I’m not even a fan of hers. O.o

Source Code. 9/10. I don’t actively seek out very many new movies, but I wanted to see something Duncan Jones directed and it’s even better than I thought it would be.

Being John Malkovich. 10/10 easily

Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark. 6.5/10. Fun movie, but I was sick of Indiana killing people in cold blood all the time just for treasure.

Last movie outright: Raw (Eddie Murphy comedy show)-8.5/10 I liked some parts, but he would drone on and on with his impressions, and some of them weren’t very good.

Last feature film: The Karate Kid (remake)-9/10. People hate remakes and people fret over the fact that’s it’s really kung fu, without recognizing how good the acting really was in the movie.

Last film in theaters: Madea’s Big Happy Family-5/10. Just another cross-dresser for Tyler Perry. The only reason it even gets a 5 is because I was visiting my grandmother out of town, and I just wanted to be around her.

Re: Post # 8 :

" You guys are extremely lenient with scores. You do realize that a 5/10 is average, right? "

I assume that folks here rate their movies like they rate their kids or themselves … we now live in a world where EVERYONE is Above Average !!

Most recent movie I saw that was Extremely Excellent =

Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris

The BEST movie I’ve EVER seen, EVER =

The 3.5 hour long 1962 masterpiece Lawrence of Arabia

Grade inflation ftw.
