What kind of math raw score would equal around a 700?

yea i would like to kno that also

yeah i really need around a 700 or higher on the math and i dont know how close i would be after today

Hi dudes ! I have a question. Yesterday I had a look at CB calender for the SAT I in 2006 n I think I had better take the June SAT to gain experience an see whether my score is high enough, and thus retake it in Nov if necessary ( I intend to apply under ED program to my dream school ).
However if I take it in June, I will have only two month to prepare for it now ( April already :( ).... So do u think that two months are too much rushing and short to prepare ? And within two months, what is the best way to prepare for it ? I am really freakin' out at the moment :(
Thanks in advance ! ;)

2 months? that's enough time to prepare for it......

depends on what score you're lookin at for though
anything 2250 and less, 2 months is plenty, depending on what you get on a diagnostic.

for OP, sorry i have no idea.

To the first two people - I imagine the 4/1 SAT curve would be fairly generous because that math was pretty hard so something like -6 or 7? I know for CR in November -7 was a 700 and usually math curves are a little stricter.

That's good. I may have done it if it is that generous.

I can't figure out how they do it any way. I thought that you had to get all of the questions right to make a 2400 but apparently not.

no u dont....

jaw is right...you definetly do not have to get all the q's right for a 2400...like if you look at the reading and writing sections it is possible for you to miss one to two q's (depending on the curve) and still make an 800...the math curve is usually more tough though...it is rare that you can make a mistake on the math section and still get 800...though judging by how hard everyone says this math section was (personally i didnt think it was too tough...maybe i had a different version?)...the curve will probably be more generous than usual...

@evilbooya: Thanks for your prompt reply ! But I forgot to say that I am an international students ! This is the reason why I had to ask whether or two months are enough :(... I am in two minds now as I fear that if my June score is too low, it will make a very bad impression on admission officiers even if the score in Nov or Oct is higher ? Do you think so ? :(... So what is the best way to prepare in two months ?

Anything from a 46 to a 51 could conceivably net you a 700.

The full raw score is 54.

thats good

how much do u think they'll curve the math score

46 raw score math=the lowest possible raw score for 700.
