<p>When do people find out whether they are accepted into Residential College? My D "expressed the interest" (checked the boxes) in her app both for RC and Honors Program; now she got an e-mail about getting into UMich (hooray! :)) and invitation to write an essay for an Honors Program. Not a word about RC. Does it mean RC rejected her? Or will that decision come later?</p>
<p>Is there any separate application for RC? If so, when one supposed to fill and send it?</p>
<p>Your daughter will receive a letter from the RC 2-4 weeks after her acceptance. There will be a yellow postcard that she must fill out and return. The RC admits students on a first come basis - no separate essay etc. My son is a junior at UM in the RC with a non-RC major. Good luck!</p>
