<p>My daughter’s email had information about a merit scholarship.</p>

<p>My email contained scholarship information, but not need based financial aid. I’m guessing they tell you about merit based now, but if I’m correct the merit aid is fairly hard to come by?</p>
<p>Waitlisted. I was sort of surprised honestly, because I attended their Discover Scripps program in the fall and I love the consortium. I thought it would be a great fit. I wish I could know what I did wrong. Is it okay to maybe call or send an e-mail and request more information about why I was waitlisted? </p>
<p>I just got an email saying I can log in to see my financial aid award, but I need a scripps ID, where would I find that?</p>

Congratulations to those who were accepted. To others on the waitlist our fingers are crossed for all of you! If my daughter gets in you could start a club together for anyone who got in from the waitlist and plot to be the best students Scripps has ever had

<p>Daughter admitted but highly unlikely to attend. This was her safety school. She was already admitted to Wash U and Oberlin. Awaiting Stanford, Princeton, Yale, Dartmouth, Tufts and Pomona. Was deferred EA at Stanford. Hopefully will open up space for others. She really likes Pomona, so she may be on campus.</p>

<p>Yep, it said they weren’t able to verify it, even though I copied and pasted it from the email it was originally in.</p>
<p>i got that “unable to verify” message too, but after i got one of the security verification questions wrong. once i fixed the answer, i was able to get in. did you get that message right after you entered your ID or after the questions? </p>
<p>I think if these colleges which are primary aspirations of a few of us wait listed, instead of using a “why Scripps” essay, they changed it to “why Scripps will not be your safety” then some of the lesser ones like us who aspire to be at Scripps or smaller LACS will benefit a lot. Yes I am not trying to demean or berate the high achievers who state along with the acceptance right away that they will not go to Scripps, but trying to make it a little easier for people like us that put in our heart to Scripps application but lose out being on the waitlist.</p>

<p>I just got my actual letter, and it included a short note about my essay from the VP for enrollment!! </p>
