<p>I applied two weeks ago for RD, but didn't get a confirmation email from Columbia yet. CommonApp says everything went through, so I'm assuming its just them catching up with the ED rush. If I don't get an email in a week, I think I'll call and check. </p>
<p>I made two typos in my common app itself. They are small, but I want to correct them. I was thinking of emailing the admissions office after they get my application and I have a tracking system and an ID. What do you think?</p>
<p>I can tell you now that you can make corrections without e-mailing - or you can e-mail them at their ugrad ask e-mail, but you’ll likely get the same response I did:</p>
<p>Any additions or corrections to the application must be submitted in writing, come directly from the applicant, and include the student’s identifying information: name, high school/secondary school, and Columbia ID number (C00…), Common Application ID number or date of birth. Applicants may submit the change(s) via fax to the number below or via e-mail to <a href=“mailto:ugrad-confirm@columbia.edu”>ugrad-confirm@columbia.edu</a>.</p>

<p>So as soon as you get your Columbia ID - just fax/mail in your corrections, and it’d probably still be fine.</p>

<p>Does anyone know where we can use the ID? How do we know if our packages made it to them?</p>
