I've taken the most rigorous course load throughout my high school career (AP's, Honors, etc.). I'm Arab-American if that helps at all.

Teacher recommendations: Really great. I couldn't have asked for better.

Essays: I think I wrote some decent essays, but you can never really tell with these colleges. We'll see.

Thanks for taking the time to read that and chance me :)

Georgetown doesn’t consider your Writing score

Your SATs(CR+M) put you just under the top 25% of those accepted…hate… and average ACT is 28-33 by the way, do some research.

Michael, the reason I put “hate” is that from all of the applicants I’ve seen on this board, my test scores don’t seem to be considered very excellent. Thank you for your replies though.

haha take College Confidential with a grain of salt…most applicants here that assess you will fall into that top 25%; to be realistic check actual statistics in terms of GPA and Scores, using CC for subjectives like ECs rank etc can be beneficial, but if you want to actually gauge where you fall with the numbers use actual data.hope that helps

College Confidential…the killer of spirits.

^^^Haha really, I went into this whole process thinking i had at least some chance of getting into a school like Gtown, now it seems I’m destined for Uni of Florida

Haha I felt the same way, then I realized that most of the people on here don’t represent the majority applying to these colleges and I feel slightly relieved…just slightly.

I’m not saying any of your are stupid, but I have seen some (though very few) pretty dumb kids in Georgetown. Even the top ivy leagues have a few of them. Just remember that a vast majority of students have stats lower than the top 25th percentile (tautology is wonderful, isn’t it?).
