I check the mail obsessively. Even though I know there is nothing...yet.

when do you guys found out? (sorry, i'm a junior:o)

MallomarCookie, my friend last year who applied to MIT had a handwritten note written to him from Admissions saying, "I loved your website!"

I know. Unprecedented. Unheard of.

ahem

In other news...

... 22 days ...

That will be all :p

I really need to get off this thread... it's becoming unhealthy now.

naidu, we find out march 29th...5 pm...in our email...CRAP!

3 weeks...<insert cheesy="" statement="" about="" time="" flying="" by=""></insert>

Lol, I think I will just wish everyone good luck every single day until the admission date... would that help the stress? I'm pretty much positive of rejection so my stress level is actually lightening a little...
anyway...
Good Luck, Good Luck, Good Luck, Good Luck, Good Luck, Good Luck, Good Luck, Good Luck, Good Luck, Good Luck, Good Luck, Good Luck, Good Luck, Good Luck, Good Luck, Good Luck, Good Luck, Good Luck, Good Luck, Good Luck, Good Luck...
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!

How many of you plan to go to school on march 29, Its the last day before my spring break.

Wow, that is a hard post to follow. But someone's gotta do it:

Everyone, please keep your sanity for the duration of this ride.

I'm already driven insane by my gazillion AP tests at school.

I'm keeping busy by filling out scholarship applications (deadlines are approaching fast!!).

21 days to go!!

Dude, less than 3 weeks = scary

I know what you mean...now I kinda wish I didn't tell anyone I applied to Harvard cause if I don't get accepted, people are going to be in my face.

Yep, that's what happened to me at my early school. It sucked (still sucks). I try not to mention colleges to people because I know they will ask; it just makes it worse. My parents also seem to have forgotten that they have lives of their own. They're living this process themselves and it gets really annoying and stressful.

Yup....you hit the nail on the head....though with my mom I know she wants me to stay in Michigan. So even if I get accepted (which I kinda doubt) she and I will be having looooonnnnng talks about it.

My mom tries to pretend she is better than all the "ignorant" people who don't know U Penn from Penn State. But she is always talking about how happy she'd be if I went to an Ivy--and always dismisses other schools I'm applying to like U Chicago. And recently she said, "Is Duke even that prestigious outside North Carolina?" I had to resist rolling my eyes.

Why can't parents be happy no matter what college their child goes to? There are plenty of successful people who came from colleges that some people wouldn't deem as "prestigious."

Well it's not really about that. It's about validation, obviously :(

I guess you're right.
