*The countdown thread*

So...

45 days

just bookmarking hehe

WOW! this is REALLY early.....~_~

more appropriately, count down till EA deadline tonight

Is it ok to have it postmarked ON November 1st?

Oh my gosh don't do this...ahh i'm nervous already. ;)

postmarked nov 1 is fine, even if it arrives nov 8

STILL 45!!

ahhhhhhhhhh this suspense is excruciating

And here it is from my status page:

Requirements
All required documents have been received. Thank you.
Application Type Early

The excitement is killing me.

where can u see ur status page?

Another year of applicants getting antsy...it's deja vu.

I've always said I wouldn't do this, but it's a bit different when it's you as it's your first and only time to apply to college! Haha be patient with us :D

Haha...I never meant my comment to be taken negatively.
I simply implied that it reminded me of 2 years ago. (And to a lesser extent a few months ago.)

Oh, I didn't take your comment negatively... I was just trying to make a joking reply;) Haha I hate talking on computers. You can never tell if somebody's serious or not.

Yeah, I remember the application process. The last few days of waiting were particularly nasty- I actually got physically sick. I feel silly looking back on it, but it's hard to avoid being nervous.

I recommend finding something else to care about and sticking to it- whether it's waiting for next Wednesday's episode of Lost or concentrating hard on losing five pounds in a month. Whatever it is, it'll make you worry less.

how do you guys know when the decisions are going to be released. Isn't it December 14, which would be 43 or 44 days?

44!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it is Dec. 15.
Btw, what if my transcript has not been postmarked by Nov 1st but all other parts of my application have?
I had to make a correction on there and I mentioned it on the additional info. page.

get it in as soon as possible. if your common app and supplement are in and you have paid the fee, the worst thing that can happen is that they will contact you or your school looking for it. the best thing you can do to ensure that such a situation doesn't happen is to get your transcript in as soon as possible.
