Yay! I have company! Anyone else up for a group hug? ;)

im here with ya guys....totally in the reject group..hehe

i odn't think we'll all be in the reject group, I have a hunch that a higher percentage of ccers will get in than the overall acceptance rate

that is true because CC is not representative of the general population :D

But I'm still going to get rejected :(

ummm well no i definitely know im getting rejected....i dont care though ..i dont..im going to keep telling myself that

I have consoled myself by pointing out that I already have my objectives in line and I know what I am going to do to get there. Certainly, while a particular college may help in making connections, changing though processes, etc, I view college as a rest stop on the journey of life and not a fork in the road which will determine whether one becomes a Nobel peace prize recipient or pool repairman.

Besides, since I already got in to Tulane with a full ride, it might be advantageous to campaign for political office as a liberal coming from a "southern" background(of course, Duke could kick Tulane's a**) In fact, if one looks at the data, one will see that the last politician from the northeast to win the presidency was JFK, and he couldn't have done it without picking LBJ as his running mate which made him carry a large portion of the south.

at least, I won't be characterized by other people as a northeast liberal but a down home southern liberal

But, if I got admitted to HYP, I would still go there without batting an eye but after graduating setting up practice in the south or west, thereby eliminating the characterization of myself as a northeast liberal

hey more power to the northeast liberals!!!!!!!<~~~~

true, but with the conservative grip on the country and the changing demographics, northeast liberals are losing power and influence

not to mention credibility with most of the American public

nonsense..did u observe the results this yr..it was practically even...let's face it..kerry wouldve won if bush didnt pull that anti-gay marriage deal..honestly..a lot of hispanics(60% i believe) voted for him because they are so against gays yet they a lot of them will be suffering bcuz of his economic policies..and even a lot of Ohio disliked Bush's economic policies yet voted for him because they are so anti gay marriage..thats why he won..but other then that..americas pretty much divided evenly..

Bush won because of stupid social reasons..he played the game..

oh well...so looks like all of us will be on the internet from 3pm to 7pm continuous hopping between websites and impatiently waiting for our inbox to pop up that 'new message received' alert. God knows how i'll muster the courage to click on the e-mail.

yes.. but republicans won 97 out of the 100 fastest growing counties in the us

omg.....thats scary!..how will we do that..i dont think ill be able to open my eyes..whenever i think about the email..my body is feels weird..i feel like throwing up.

only because of this social trick..honestly..itll be different unless republicans play the same game again in 2008...but honestly i believe he only won because of that..

true, but they will use another ploy to try and win in 2008, their "starve the beast" mentality is working and the next prez will be faced with a whole bunch to fiscal problems, democrats tax and spend to keep a balanced budget, republicans just spend and push the bill to us which we have to pay with interest, personally I prefer democrats

hmff, and those republicans call themselves "fiscal conservatives" what a joke!!!

im a democrat and i must disagree, bush doesn't owe his win to homophobia....he owes it to kerry's intellectual, half-baked excuses for his errors. americans don't want a scholar, they want a cowboy!

i'm not quite sure where i read it but....anyone with an IQ of over 110 is not suitable for the presidency....and that is in fact that's the average presidential IQ

ugh bush's policies are hurting so many of our lives..it sucks as*****(those are just a bunch of s's)..lol fiscal conservatives!..and they are sooo racist..lets face it..bush lovers are...hehe..i know im gonna soooooo get yelled at for saying this..but deep down inside they are..u gotta be if you agree with bush..this is specifically for bush lovers not ppl who voted for him because they dont like kerry

MZ..the america your speaking about thats still trapt in the 20th century or 19th..is the america thats homophobic..soo u can combine the two..the homophobia really helped..believe me..it did..

sexydesi you are right on the mark... those flyover states are rampant with xenophobic racist hicks...

just an interesting correlation, the membership in white supremacy groups has grown highly in recent years

with that... let the flames begin

btw, my car has a bumper sticker that says "BEWARE ATTACK DEMOCRAT" so.... BEWARE
