RD Decision

When is the exact date we find out? Can we find out online?

The website says that decisions are mailed by April 1st, however i looked on the boards from last year and people received decisions from as early as march 22 to as late as april 2nd.
i'm pretty sure they only notified by mail because there was an article in the hartford courant about it.
Good luck to everyone!!!

Ahhh! That would be ridiculous to hear the 22nd. That's in 5 days!

Crazy...

B

That would be a nice surprise. Today, I got an acceptance from a school that I thought notified on April 1...who knew it was March 15?

Which school?

Washington University in Saint Louis.

Wow!! Good job Kane :D

That's a great school.

...except Wesleyan is just way cooler. :X

my letter came today. you guys?

Nothing here today, where are you Zozy?

Congrats!

thanks! i'm in california.

UGH. Why don't they post their decisions on the web? They have WesCheck... it must not be too hard to do... I'm gonna check the site now.

I couldn't find anything on the website... did anyone else find anything?

Oh yes... congrats to zozy!

Decisions will not be on the web. Like most schools, I imagine they're starting far away with the mailings-gives kids time to make travel arrangements

hey, i got my acceptance in the mail today as well. im in kansas, not too close to california. i wasnt sure if i was gonna get in because they said that they had only recieved one of my teacher recs and i never bothered to get the other one sent. :P oh well. yay! except i dont know anything about my finaid because apparently they dont have our W2s or 1040s....ooops....better find out soon. not sure if im gonna visit colored admitted students weekend....it all depends on where else i get in i guess....but yay! ive been down since my washu waitlist....but this gives me some hope. on another note, i just got my paycheck in the mail from work and they said i worked 5 hours less than i actually did >=( not too happy about that one.

My daughter received her acceptance today. She won't be attending, however. She received no financial aid, so other offers are more attractive. Congratulations to zozy and all others in the class of 2009. We are in Ohio, BTW.

Hey pattykk......did she receive no financial aid after applying for it? I thought schools just reject students if they can't provide the aid....

No, we don't qualify for need-based aid, and Wesleyan doesn't offer merit aid. They deemed that we have enough money to pay the tuition, but we have not saved enough to do that without some very uncomfortable loans. My D received offers of merit aid from two other schools, and she is waiting to hear from several others.
Some schools do consider a student's ability to pay, but the schools that guarantee to meet 100% of a student's need do not reject a student for financial reasons.

I got in! That makes five.

So ... has no one in the northeast actually gotten it? I get the travel arragements thing, but it seems odd that they wouldn't send us letters at all yet... and have they only sent acceptances, or rejections too? Anyone know?
