RD Decision

Oh okay. My last name is r so I’m a ways down…

Perhaps, JROSE123. My e-mail listed my last name before my e-mail address in the receiver tab, so maybe they go according to that? Not sure though.

IM WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAITING
duh!
Reed will be my 6th decision. And the first that I check on my own.

Maybe they’ve sent the waitlist batch first. Try staying on the waitlist ArtemisDea if you really love Reed; despite all their caveats, Financial Aid off the waitlists has worked out in many cases, but yes you can’t get your hopes up high-that’s with any waitlist though, I guess.

Congrats for your friend Gary!

I’m a Shukla, so I get it later I guess. So be it. As long as I’m accepted, the wait is FUN!!!

Are only the waitlist decisions out? Then maybe the decision based batch theory works.

Paradox7, I absolutely love Reed and will probably accept my place on the wait list, but I’d be shocked if they ever came up with the amount of financial aid that I’d need to attend a school on the opposite side of the country. I never really had my hopes up for Reed to begin with, since I knew I’d be at a serious disadvantage applying, but I still think it’s a great school.

I just got in!!! anyone know how/when we’ll know about FA?

Accepted… bittersweet since there’s no way I can pay for it.

^ Does the e-mail say anything specific about Financial Aid? Last year it did, and I remember people being really upset about it. I know of a person who got ~$40,000 off the waitlist. I guess it just depends on their yield this year-if other applicants accepted with aid decide to go elsewhere, that may free up some money for the waitlisted ones.

ahhh . . . my email’s still not here! Oh well . . . I’ll just keep waiting. Stupid middle of the alphabet last name . . .

Are only the rejections left now? If I’m not in yet- am I rejected???

Nope, just a link to the Accepted video.

Congratulations acceptees!! Your Financial Aid documents should reach you sometime beginning of next week alongwith your formal acceptance package.

@Paradox 7
The email is a video saying congrats, etc. nothing about FA. I really hope they offer me something!

Waitlisted… When do we know?

Exactly a year ago, at this time I was accepted-this is surreal. sushmita, I have a feeling international students are sent decisions as a separate pool. Hang in there!

I’m rejected ^

gerberagirl, I was actually asking ArtemisDea about what his/her e-mail said, because waitlist mails last year mentioned Financial Aid as a criterion for selection.
