@sirlaxalot I was from St Joseph’s Institution International. What about you? (assuming you asked that because you’re from Singapore too)

I am from SAS (if you were curious) :)

Georgia,

That information is false. According to Family Connection 28 people applied this year. Last year was 17 and the year before that was 33. High, but not near 100 :P. Also no one I know has gotten the email.

lavingiasa im surprised so few (relatively) people apply considering SAS’ standards. i know for some usc is a step below the schools they want/will get into, but i expected that the vast majority would apply.

this is in no way a diss against your school btw. i know a few sas kids and our school is part of that ‘asian international school’ bubble so i just assumed your school would be more like mine.

Well there are about 300 students graduating each year and if 30 apply that is 10%, which is quite a lot. I have a feeling that the reason it is not that high is because maybe 25% of the school has over a 3.8 GPA, maybe even less. Lastly a lot of the kids, I do not know why, tend to go to the east coast over the west coast. It may seem that is a step below, but in reality SAS is not filled with top tier students. As I said before, not too many people as SAS have amazing GPA and only a few enough are good enough to get in on solely sports.

Got in. ( beijing, china) received dhl email at 2:37am mar.28th.

Has your USConnect page changed yet?

So it appears our Chinese applicants are getting the e-mails, any non-China applicants received any?

Nope, no emails here. Still waiting to hear from DHL in India.

Not to be a sourpuss could peeps please just post only if they have in fact recieved the email also if u could tell us if your UCCONNECT page changed.
Thanks

Still waiting…sign
Hope the DHL is still processing my mail or im rejected…=0=

This is really killing me :(

nothing changed.
P.S I’m a U.S citizen living overseas.

guys, just calm down = =. Best wishes for everyone.

This is just disheartening… Waiting for a random email that can make all the difference is much more aggravating than waiting for an online decision… Best of luck everyone, there is still a glimmer of hope I suppose.

Congratulations BrOnTeCs! You must be thrilled!

THANKS GOLDI123. good luck to you!

Nothing recieved in India today :-(

Any HKIS students waiting to hear from DHL or otherwise?

I go to SAS (shanghai american school) and i havent gotten anything yet either… :(

FYI:

Students [domestic applicants] in other threads have already received acceptances/rejections via snailmail. I find this quite weird as I always assumed the majority of the DHL notifications would be sent out by the time anyone receives a letter.
