Lol don’t be scared. Confused is ok though. For now, there is no point in worrying, as that will not change anything, much less the actual decision. Fearing rejection is probably worse than the rejection itself.

I can’t say your way of thinking is correct; as far as I know, OOS students get the same attention as IS students. Getting rejected from NCSU has nothing to do with your decision here at UNC-CH, and there is definitely no comparison.

The most you can do is just continue working towards your grades in case they ask for your final transcript to aid the decision making process.

So far I’ve heard that there is a slight possibility of notifications coming out tomorrow because EA applicants heard on a Thursday afternoon! Fingers crossed we hear sometime tomorrow because I have a Clemson tour for accepted students Friday morning, and don’t necessarily need to make the drive if I hear good news!

Yeah, I was deferred EA and found out on a Thursday.

Me too, but to be fair, they posted a blog post on that Wednesday and released on Thursday. They just posted the blog today, so probably tomorrow. Still holding out hope I guess. Absolutely ridiculous we find out after Ivies though…

I just got an email about the link to checking my application status, but it only said “when your decision becomes available.” It’s so frustrating!
