I applied to Beloit for the priority deadline. However, my application wasn’t complete until late January when they received my ACT score. I’m wondering if I should expect a decision around now (Beloit’s Web site says priority regular decision should hear by early March) or later because all my materials weren’t in?

Also, does the date when an applicant receives a decision have any bearing on the decision? So, does Beloit want applicants more when they’re accepted earlier? Basically, I’m curious how the process goes because I’ve seen scattered acceptances already.

…and I kind of am really anxious because Beloit is pretty cool :)

I don't know too much about the RD notification process, I think the acceptances have all been EA so far. I would guess from what you say that you would probably hear back fairly soon. Hopefully someone who knows more will give you a better answer.

I do know that March is a hard month for people waiting to hear back from colleges - it's hard to wait but I wish you the best of luck - I know Beloit is at the top of my daughter's list of accepted colleges. Hope it all works out for you!

I think beloit will send them out sometime in March. I don't think they have a specific date, maybe send them out over a period of time as they finalize decisions

i heard from beloit at the beginning or middle-ish of march, i can't really recall. also, if you got one of their special merit scholarships (presidential, eaton, etc.) they might let you know a few weeks later. that's how it happened for me, anyway. i still haven't gotten my financial package yet, though.

A young man I mentor found out a few weeks ago that he has been accepted, but he hasn't received a financial aid estimate yet. Does anyone know when they go out?

Thanks - that will give him time to compare offers. Hopefully, his Beloit f/a will be good - he has high need. He really likes Beloit, so I do hope things work out for him.
