Thank you guys! Do you think I have an equal chance of getting into all three of them?
Maybe Middlebury is a little bit harder but it doesn’t ask for extra essays so why not
Any practical Ivy League recommendations based on my stats and interests? Thanks
I kinda want to take Emory out of my list because I wasn’t attracted to its campus when I visited in August. Plus I think Emory is more like a top 30 school instead of a top 20 according to USnews. What schools do you think are comparable to Emory?
You really can’t tell without consulting a ranking that combines LACs and RUs. Right now, I’d say Forbes has the advantage over USNews in that regard and according to Forbes, Emory would not break the top 50 in a head to head that included LACs:
@circuitrider That is true. What schools would you consider to be peers of Emory including LACs? Thank you.
WUSTL, NYU, Wake Forest, Grinnell, Macalester
Boston College, Brandeis, Emory(maybe), William and Mary, Middlebury, Vassar(maybe), Wesleyan, Colby, U of Richmond, and F&M.
Which ones are considered my reaches, matches, and safeties?
Anybody?
And when does Penn State usually release decisions?
