Recs:
teacher rec is solid
my essay/short answers are pretty solid, probably nothing spectacular but above average

yeah but I've dedicated a lot of time to studying for the test, so it's not like I just took the test without knowing anything about it before :/
I just want to know if my GPA will hinder me from getting accepted and does anyone think that if I get in, that I would have a shot at a merit scholarship or any other type of scholarship?

Is the average GPA really 3.6? The only thing holding me back from applying to Stern is my 3.5 GPA. Everything else is pretty solid. Would I stand a chance with above average SAT scores (I won't post details here because this isn't my chance thread, but my composite score is 2320/1560) and good extra-curriculars?

Your SAT scores pretty much compensate for that 3.5 GPA so I wouldn't be too worried about it if the rest of your application is as solid as you say.

Arbaz, I think you have a good chance. It shouldnt matter what your GPA is if you have an upward trend. And you also have good test scores and ECs.
