I was deciding between two top schools throughout April and could not visit either because of the coronavirus. I decided on school A but have been having serious regrets about not choosing school B. Is it possible to email school B and ask if they have the spot open still? Or to be put on the waitlist? HELP
Yes, you can certainly ask. They will probably still have space too. You probably won’t get your deposit back from School A, however.
Are you sure that, once you switch, you won’t be wistful for School A again? The grass is always greener…
I’m fairly certain, but I’m also not 100% sure. I really do think I like School B more than School A, but I don’t want to like it too much just in case they don’t accept me again. I just emailed them about offering me a spot again, hopefully I get positive news back. !!!
Update: they said they still have room for me and reopened my admissions portal.
