Do I need to re-send everything? HS transcript, SAT scores, etc.?? (Ivies, duh.) Thanks

For Northwestern, I needed to e-mail them to "reactivate" my freshman application. Most schools still require you to send in your final HS transcript that includes all 8 semesters but I don't think SAT resend is necessary if they had already received all the scores you need last year. Most schools will have a Secondary School Form in which your HS counselor will fill out, but they also add that if you can't, HS transcript will suffice.

Here is my e-mail correspondence with NU Dean of Admissions

Good Morning-
I just received your email expressing a desire to have your application from last year reactivated here at Northwestern. There are several things you should know:

The transfer application deadline for Fall quarter 2006 is May 1, 2006.

The only information from last years application we can reuse are your test scores and teacher recommendations.

You will need to pay the application fee, and re-submit both parts 1 and 2 of the transfer application on-line.

We will also need final transcripts (or a second semester transcript if you're a freshman currently) from your present university showing completion of at least 24 semester hours or 36 quarter hours of credit to be considered for admission.

A signed and dated Dean's Reference form, must also be sent.

Final high school transcripts showing a graduation date must be submitted.

We do not offer formal interviews to transfer students.

We do not offer preliminary credit evaluations.

green09, were u admitted to Northwestern las year ( i was ), i thought the reactivation thing was only for admitted students

No, actually, I was denied admission last year which was a punch in the face (probably my slapdash work in the essays killed me). I called the admission office telling them I'm applying again and they told me that I needed to reactivate my file by sending an e-mail.
