at this stage the essays are most important especially for the LACs.

middlebury and cornell are not as difficult to get into as dartmouth, williams, or harvard. it we're to be accurate, the reaches for the OP's stats are harvard, dartmouth, and williams. the matches or "slight reaches" are cornell, middlebury, and bowdoin. the rest are full matches or safeties. no matter how hard posters on CC push it, middlebury is not as difficult to get into as williams. it just isn't. especially for this OP. please.

Yep, I'd say pb2002 has it basically right. And, of course, Harvard is a longer reach than Dartmouth or Williams.

bumppppppp

McGill, you're in for sure, your GPA is way above the average entering Freshman there, and Canadian Universities only care about marks, so yea, you're in at McGill.

how about % chances

bummmpppppp

Dartmouth 30%
Bowdoin 55%
Williams 35%
Middlebury 50%
Cornell 45%
Harvard 15%
McGill 90% +
UVM 90% +
Conn Coll 90% +
BC 90% +

McGill is a safety. 100% (I know, I'm a Canadian..)

BC..is this UBC? What does BC actually stand for?

Well . . . this post makes me feel really good about my chances at Dartmouth, Princeton, Cornell, and Duke . . .

I have similar numbers, but my ECs aren't quite as hot I have music (band/chorus all 4 years), a sport (cross-country), and I am a boy scout (almost eagle), but I dont have those precious leadership positions in school activities . . . ouch . . . College app stress didn't hit me until today, and it has hit me with a vengeance.

I feel like sticking my face in a blender, I don't want to go to Drexel or PSU (my safety schools) . . .
