Reaches for me?

I wanted to get this out there before the common January 15 deadline...

GPA: 3.42 / 3.56
SAT I: 700m 670v
SATII: Writing: 720, Physics: 700, Math IIC: 770
EC's: average...

Intended major is engineering.

I've applied to Northwestern and GaTech.

I've already gotten accepted to Purdue and Illinois, so rejection is no longer an issue.

What are some challenging, but feasible reaches for me to apply to?

I think you have a shot at Michigan and your chances are pretty good if you applied to UT Austin. Your chances would be increased if you're in the top 5% or 10% of your class.

First off, congrats on your Purdue and Illinois acceptances!

Second, what branch of engineering are you interesting in?

Thanks ohiomom -

I don't have a very in-depth knowledge of all branches of engineering per se, but i applied MechE anyway for various arbitrary reasons.

And thanks for the suggestions too harri - i'll look into those schools as well.

Rose Hulman, Bucknell, CMU, RPI? Second the UT Austin suggestion.

Duke would be a reach.
