<p>just got my score today, this is the 2nd time i took act.</p>
<p>my goal is around 27 on act, however i keep doing bad on the reading section. anyone want to give some good reading advice to me?? Here are the scores (parenthesis indicate the score i got the first time i took the act):</p>

M- 23 (19)
R - 16 (15)
S - 27 (18)</p>
<p>i read a lot of post on CC, people seem to do so well on the reading section however, i find it extremely difficult.</p>
<p>First congratulations for increasing from a composite score of 18 to 22. There are different methods you can use on reading. Some people go directly to questions and then search the text. Others read through the text first. </p>
<p>You should spend time practicing with the Red Book and developing the best method for your reading style.</p>

<p>The same method doesn’t work for everyone, but I usually skim the passages first and then read the questions and look back at passage. Skimming it first helps me absorb the information better. Reading is my highest score, by the way.</p>
<p>Well, I would say practice. The more you get the feel for the passages the better you will do.</p>
