Reading and English Part

Do you guys read everything? Or read the questions first?

I haven't actually taken the test yet... (at least not anytime recently)

But on a lot of the practice tests i've taking, I find it easier to read the passages first. With the English, I like to read until I come to the underlined portion, then until the end of the sentence, and then answer the question pertaining to it. Rinse and repeat.

A lot of the ACT practice books i'm reading suggest to do a lot of skimming/underlining/etc. first on the Reading tests. That didn't work very well for me though. I just ended up running out of time faster. I find I can do the questions much easier and faster if I thoroughly read the entire passage first before answering any questions.

For the reading section I look at the questions first then go back and quickly read the passage. I got a 31 reading so there's definately going to be people who got 36s on here to help you out.
