What are some good reads for someone who wants to become a consultant? I am interested in finance, and short of my accounting classes, I haven't learned much that I think would be of use to me when applying for jobs. I'd like to learn mostly about corporate finance, investing, and tax law. I feel this plus accounting would probably give me a strong foundation to make me sound like a well educated candidate during interviews.

The Wall Street Journal and The Economist for everyday reading.
The best thing you can do before any interview (as I'm told) is to have an intimate knowledge of the company you are applying to.
