I am going for a 36 on this ACT (April 10th). I got a 34 on my first official one and 35 on a couple practice ones. My reading score is generally the weakest, at 34 and sometimes 35. To those of you who have gotten 36 or find this section the easiest, what strategy did you use? Do you read the section first, or the questions first and look back at the section? Thanks for your help!

I’m going to take a guess that this is Galen.

My scored improved from 27 to 33-35 after going to a “passage-first” strategy. I too, have trouble achieving perfection on this section.

Would be curious to see what any “36ers” have to say.

would you reccomend to skim and look at the questions or read completely first? i got a 32 both time on reading so i dont know how to make my score go any higher
