Ready for Review

Hi I heard that people have started getting decisions . Mines still say ready for review and I have a 3.8 and a 34. Is this normal? Sorry just freaking out a bit.

Same here for my DD… 1500 SAT and 3.8 GPA (unweighted)… ready for review status for a few weeks now

Unfortunately, yes it is normal. Our experience with my son was that at some point it will change to "Further Review Required for most US kids…some get accepted at the first pass. You will then be asked to upload 1st quarter grades. You will wait. You will then upload first semester grades. Once those were uploaded for most kids they heard pretty quickly.

The process is VERY different than in the U.S. but it seems to work. (Sorry…I made the U.S. assumption.) Best of luck to you both! (And I have a HS senior who is closer to the minima who is applying…his wait is going to be brutal!)

I was admitted, so to clarify for anyone wondering, there is no period of going back to ‘Ready For Review’- it just goes straight to the decision.

@thomc1 how long did it take for you to get accepted once your were “further review required”?

@adventurebird6 It depends. I’m uncertain when I was labelled further review required, but once I submitted my Q1 Grades, it took about a week and a half to receive a decision. Basically, I was labelled FRR, I saw it at some point, I completed my Checklist, and I received a decision about a week and a half later.

Depends on what Further Review Required asked for. Both my boys in December (one this year; one two years ago) got FRR asking for first semester grades. For my oldest, once he uploaded those in February it was less than a week until a decision. We are based in US.
