Hi! Daughter applying ED to Pace, MT all acting. Also 20 other schools. Her application and prescreen won’t be ready til 10/3. If we submit that week, will we have an audition spot? I see folks are submitting so early!
You won’t, she may. The ED decision date for majors that require interviews/auditions is in December.

I just poked around on Acceptd for you - the Pace in-person ED audition date is November 11, 2023 (you can see this when your D completes her application on Acceptd). Looks like prescreens are reviewed on a rolling basis and that most people should have a decision on their prescreen within 2 weeks. I would add a third week for buffer. If it would unsettle your D to find out at the very end of October that she has an in-person audition for her dream school in ~2 weeks (and if that short turnaround time makes planning any travel you may have to undertake to NYC difficult), I would endeavour to have her submit her prescreen earlier.
Difficult to say for sure whether or not all the spots will be spoken for by early October, but I would say that ED is not a popular application strategy for MT majors and in fact I’m surprised to see that Pace has begun offering ED for MT.
