<p>I'm having trouble finding a development internship. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I think I would like to go into commercial real estate, however, right now I'm not picky and an experience would be great. Also, if you're in this field, I'd be curious about the route you took to get to where you are today. </p>

<p>It's going to be tough right now. Commercial real estate development companies are pulling the plug on projects left and right nowadays. Best of luck to you though.</p>
<p>By the way, I know of a few people who worked in construction management who made the jump into real estate development. Not sure how popular of a route this is though.</p>
