(REAL) Research paper ?? (how to? and example?)

hello. i am trying to do research for Young Epidemiology Scholars. i have pretty good idea, but lack of research experience. i read many stuffs from YES site and all, but really havent gotten a whole picture. could anyone tell me how to conduct and (the most importantly) how to put together these informations??

like i want to know how deep&detail should a student goes into.. and stuffs
i think some (full report, if possible) examples would be really helpful. does anyone knows where i can find previous year's winner's full research report?? (it doesnt have to be YES.. but just similar works done by high schoolers)

thanks.

anyone knows anything about a research paper???

Unfortunately, these programs are better suited for those who have had significant research experience in the laboratory. There are so many factors that go into writing a scientific paper that I cannot possible list them all. It always depends on what project you are doing and how your paper is written. There is no generalized method in which to know when/where to go in depth. That said, www.sciserv.org is the home for Intel/ISEF competitions; they should have papers there.
