real tests vs. other tests?

I just started the BB. Im gonna do Barrons tests after I finish that because I cant afford the SAT Online Course.

I heard there is a thing called '10 real practice tests', where can i get that? and '6 free practice tests' (also real), where can i get that?

However, my MAIN question is really are the nonreal practice tests from Barrons, PR, etc really that bad? I mean will they help or will they possibly even lower my score? because some of you are real tough about not doing them.

Here's a way to put it

(Nonreal Practice Tests * 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000) ^99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< BB Practice Tests

so in conclusion, go with bb material

and the "6 Free Prac Tests" are in the online course

doing 'fake' tests won't harm you if you know what to use them for. dump fake tests for CR, use them for math only if your math isn't consistently 800, or near 800, and comfortably use them for writing, especially barrons. writing is perhaps the only component of the SAT for which endless practice can guarantee you the 800. math, if you're not already 800-material by the time you start prep, chances are you need some serious math practice. for CR, there's very little prep books can do for you, just go for the CB-made practice tests and drill and review extensively (i'm doing CR right now, because my math and writing are more or less 800s).

good luck.
