are we quoting rankings or not ? it gets a bit strange when some stats are ok to post and other stats get a constant bombardment of negativity . Fact is VCUARTS along with UCLA moved up to #2 and graduate is indeed very relevant as its the same instructors in many circumstances. I do however think it wholly inappropriate to quote a ranking as has been done so often and yet be negative of a counter ranking from a reputable source. Further as noted specific programs can and often are much more esteemed than some of the universities that house them. Everyone is entitled to disagree but really lets try to be consistent, oh and the poster listed incorrectly , VCUARTS ranked in 6 of 11 cats not 5
of 10.

further VCUARTS received an overall score of 4.4 vs RISD score of 4.3. If I were to guess it would seem that while both schools had cats not in the top 10, RISD probably went unranked at all in those three while VCUARTS obviously did slightly better overall inclusive of all cats. Irrespective its still a fine school , just happens VCUARTS did better and is wholly deserving of its national recognition. end of tangent.

the poster might like to hear something new about a great school? seriously, I greatly appreciate you determining for the board what a third party does and does not need to hear, its so kind of you.

If your posting history of relentlessly boosting your kids’ schools (VCU and some NJ spot) is any guide, that’s just about the only thing you ever think.

OK, guys, settle down please. I want to thank both of you for the information. With the need for safeties, matches, and reaches (including what I call “lottery schools” which are a high reach for everyone applying) I love reading about any school that might be a good fit! Thank you!
