so im only a soph and this could def. change on the sat... but currently I have a 72 verbal, 80 writing, and a... 55 math on the psat. does anyone know what admissions would think of that?

They would just think that you are really good at writing and critical reading. I gad a big gap- 800 in critical reading, and 600 in math

math is the easist to learn, my D is in the same boat, so she is just doing the mathprep books, several different ones

You think YOUR gap is wide? Take a look at mine.

760 M
330 CR
510 W
9 E

I think you beat us all

no offense to you killer, but just some food for thought. You know that if you leave all the questions blank on any part of the test (for you, CR), they'll give you a 400

hyper2freak7, I wish. They only give you about 200-250 if you leave the whole section blank. This is my Junior year and that was my gap. For freshman year I got...

490 M
490 W
260 CR
6 E

...as a diagnostic test, before the real one was first released.

No. They give you a 400.

They need a basis to have the penalty for incorrect guessing.
