<p>Waitlist letter indicates student should send in additional grades only… do you think a cover letter indicating full interest (will def. go if accepted) and no need for financial aid will be beneficial. Also, how about contacting a prominent alumni to speak on behalf - too little, too late and a little desperate? thoughts?</p>
<p>Re: Cover letter- It’s up to you, but I think BC really doesn’t want that type of stuff. Again, it’s your call.</p>
<p>Re: Prominent Alumni- I would imagine it would have to be a VERY influential alumnus to have significant weight in this period. But it’s your life, your choice.</p>
<p>In the end, it probably wouldn’t matter. They can only accept a certain number of students before their resources are stressed. You can always try, but I doubt anything will come of it.</p>
