I am completely stressed out. Although I love Yale, my scores aren't completely there and I would like your input on my chances. I have instantly fallen in love with Yale as a child while my father was studying at Yale's Graduate School of Divinity. I am a Korean, well rounded student with an interest in being a music major and continuing studies in classical double bass.

SAT Superscore: 2180
770 Writing (Essay: 12)
750 Math
660 Write

SAT IIs
760 US History
670 Math IIc (Retaking in November)

GPA + Ranking: 4.44 (weighted), 8/202

Other than my scores, I have 4 years of experience with the New Jersey Youth Symphony, I am 2nd chair in the NJ All State Orchestra, and I have about 250 hours of volunteering just from a worship ministry I am a part of (we produced an EP in the summer :D). I also have double legacy at Yale and live in a home of a single mother making less than 2000 a year.

I am applying regular decision because I'm not sure if I should retake the SAT (I have been taking them once a year since 8th grade, but started seriously taking them Spring of Junior Year) in December and because I am still preparing my supplementary recording. Any input? Should I retake the SAT, do I have any hopes in getting into Yale?

Other Schools I'm applying to:
Brown, Cornell, JHU + Peabody Dual Degree, U. Rochester + Eastman Dual Degree, Trinity College, BC, Rutgers.

Thanks.
