Well freshman year of HS my GPA was 3.1 uw and 3.25 w. Sophomore year it was 3.43 uw and 3.57 w. This year as of now on pace for 3.2 uw and 3.35 w which is pathetic. I take all regular classes but honors pre calc and honors chem. My grades now B in honors Chem, B in Gym cause of failed boating test but looking to bring up to A, High C in spanish trying to bring it to B, B in history, chance to bring it to A, B in english, B in Pre Calc, A in elec music and it is almost end of semester. 2nd semester I take two comp electives which should be A's and history and if B at the least my final GPA would be 3.2. If I get C to B in spanish, B to A in gym, maybe A in 2nd semester history or A in history this nine weeks or possibly both could range from 3.3-3.6 uw. I am doing awful this year, and need some tips and advice. What do I do?????? My main problem is I get too distracted by twitter and facebook and spend more time on those than on my studies and school work. How do I limit that?

i know this seems crazy…but delete those accounts…completely…don’t deactivate DELETE cuz reactivating is too easy…by deleting u delete all ur friends too and ur friends are usually the reason why fb and twitter r so addicting rite?

There’s a add on to most browsers that will block you from social media and just browsing in general until a certain time period elapses. Try using that. Or just stay away from electronics when doing homework.

The only thing that will work is DELETING them all together. I mean, go to your facebook, delete ALL of your friends, ALL of your photos, and then deactivate - then going back will be too much of a hassle. Do the same with the Twitter.

I had a similar problem with Tumblr, Sophomore Year… I just deleted it and voila, my grades went up. No need for distractions. All you need in CollegeConfidential. LOLOL.
