I applied to a couple boarding schools last year and was waitlisted at three of the four schools I applied to. I had been reading old threads and have come across some repeat applicants who were later accepted at schools that they were originally waitlisted/rejected at. I did have a good conversation with an AO about this, and she said that schools are looking for applicants who improved their applications from the previous years. I was wondering if you guys have had any experiences with this and if my chances are better as a repeat applicant, provided that I show improvement and growth as a student. Thanks!
Yes. It shows grit and determination. However, it’s by no means a guarantee. I just think you are a bit late now.
Sorry I didn’t make it clear in the original post, but I am in fact applying and have submitted my applications already. I’m just overthinking everything in anticipation of M9. I thought it would be interesting to hear some stories of other people who have been through this.
Ahh, I see. Don’t. Just relax
Good luck!
