Hi, could those who applied to wes tell me the reason why you chose wes? Thanks!

because i like onions

(oddball kids)

Great school, personal education (not lost in a crowd of 40,000, but not seeing the exact same 2 people everywhere), interesting and outgoing people, barrage of activities and events...the list goes on and on.

First and foremost, the amazing people. Quirky, friendly, intelligent, engaged, FUN people. That's the impression I got when I visited, and after a year on campus, that's still how I think of our student body. I look around the hill on a nice day and see all these people out, and they all look like they are having a blast…I only with I had time to get to know more of them!

Also:

Size of student body=perfect. (IMO). As almostmidnight said, small enough for small classes, small enough that walking to class you'll always pass at least on person you know, but big enough that you WON'T know most of the people you pass.

Awesome clubs (fire spinning! Boogie club!)

Great academics (and absolutely TOP TOP notch in my probable major, film).

I loved the buildings, Foss Hill, and size of the campus.

thanks! It makes my decision of whether to apply to Wes much easier
