So I got 4 letters of recommendation from high school teacher (I did this so because some schools required one from an English teacher, some required one from a science teacher, etc.). I told my college counselor that she should only two to each school, but somehow she accidentally sent all four t oevery single school on my list. I realize that this looks bad, but what should I do? Should I e-mail each school and tell them they only have to read two of them? Is there anyway I can take some of the rec letters back?

An extra rec letter can’t hurt. I would just leave it as it is. Unless your counselor personalized it, which I really doubt.

If a school does not want to read more than 2, it will not. Don’t worry, they will sort it all out.

All right, thanks.
