RECCOMENDATIONS from two history teachers

i posted this in common app thread but no one responded and i REALLLLYY need advice! help please

i know most colleges prefer recomendations from a teacher in the humanites and a teacher in math or science

however, i fell as if i would get the best recommendation from my AP Us history techer who i had junior year

and

my sop history techer and senior elective film and print teacher, he also traveled to europe with me.

my science and math teachers do not know me as well and i do not excell as much in their classes. Also i am intrested in studying history/polysc/ gov in college if that helps. i am applying to top schools

what should i doooooo? help

thanks

When top schools say they prefer one rec of each field, they mean they really, really want/require one in each field. They are interested in how you handled the work in your less-gifted area.

Part of the whole application process is reading between the lines, and determining what information completes their requirements. They are looking for students who are willing to cooperate with their requests. And they assume most students will change their majors at least twice during the course of college.

I agree with the above comments, if the schools want recs from different disciplines you need to provide them.
