recomendations from two history teachers?

i know most colleges prefer recomendations from a teacher in the humanites and a teacher in math or science

however, i fell as if i would get the best recommendation from my AP Us history techer who i had junior year

and

my sop history techer and senior elective film and print teacher, he also traveled to europe with me.

my science and math teachers do not know me as well and i do not excell as much in their classes. Also i am intrested in studying history/polysc/ gov in college if that helps. i am applying to top schools

what should i doooooo? help

thanks

bumpppp

please help guys! im handing them in tomorrowwwwwww!

Firstly, if you're using the Common Application, you can collect more than two recommendations and use whichever two you choose on each individual college application. Therefore, go ahead and get the two recommendations from favored teachers.

It is important to vary the sources of your recommendations. Even if you're interested in a humanities/related major (as am I), a math or science teacher's recommendation will add to the prestige of your application. At the very least, I would recommend that you be sure to have one History and one English/Foreign language recommendation.

yea, i was thinking of that.
but most schools i am applying too suggest two recomendations from different departents. i just dont know if i should risk it, even though i will get better recomendations from the two humanities teachers.

i guess i will be better off with a great one from one history teacher and a normal so-so one from a bio teacher?

what do you guys think
