Reccomendations

<p>Hello,</p>

<p>I'm applying to Tulane and I see it requires a counselor recommendation - it also says teacher recommendations are not required, but they are happy to see them. Is it a good idea to add a teacher recommendation to show extra interest? I feel like the teacher rec won't really add anything the counselor won't say, though.</p>

<p>Yes, I think it is helpful. A teacher that saw you all the time would have a different perspective than a counselor I would think. It sure can’t hurt as long as you know they will provide a real personalized rec, not some boilerplate letter.</p>
