Recipe To USE Gnocchi

Amazingly, I was thinking as i read this that I have some TJ Frozen Cauliflower gnocchi in my freezer, and wondering if that would work with the NYT recipe, when in the comments, someone mentioned that exact product and how well it worked! Definitely going to try this.

Also I had to laugh that @sabaray must have had a ESP because later in the day yesterday, NYT Cooking posted their recipe she suggested on Instagram!

I’m normally a rice person, but I adore gnocchi. One of my favorite, easy preps is to cook some spicy Italian sausage, garlic, and an onion til soft, then throw in a can of tomatoes. Simmer a bit to break down the tomatoes. Pour in chicken stock, bring to boil, add gnocchi. In the last minute, throw in a box of fresh spinach. Season with salt, red pepper flakes, and fresh basil. Serve with fresh parm.
