Reclaiming tuition

If your college/university is neglecting to provide you with the education you were told you would receive, how do you go about legally reclaiming the tuition you paid for your time at the college/university?

Is this a for profit college? Are they not having classes? Are the professors not showing up?

What’s happening?

TBH…once you have completed classes…and paid for them…I seriously doubt there is any way to get your money back.

Unless this was a for profit college, it was your responsibility to get educated. If you wasted 4 years there and got a 2.0 GPA, that was your fault.

Was the student not able to sign up for classes? Was s/he told that a major existed but later found out it didn’t? Beyond that, the education that a student receives and what he/she can and cannot do with that education is not the school’s responsibility.

Generally, when students feel that they’re not getting the education they seek, they transfer or leave. They don’t seek to “reclaim tuition.”

Well, there’s always the option of a civil law suit. (Breach of contract, etc.) That would be fun (not).
