I would like to get a 2200. I will put in as much time as it takes.
I have a 690 math 570 writing and a 520 reading. Thanks and I already have the blue book

Conquering the SAT Writing Section has a 20 rule guide to acing the Writing Grammar part. Not so good for essay, but it is okay. If you need grammar help, its good.

A fat book of any Barrons tests which are harder and better.

So do you think Barron’s 2400 would be good

^Barron’s 2400 has no actual tests, but it does have practice problems. It’s still pretty useful if you need to boost your score though.

For writing, get Elements of Style. Not an SAT book at all but it is so helpful for English grammar in general. Probably the only reason I got a perfect score on the writing section.

What did you use for reading

You said you had the Blue Book. What more could you want?

On a more serious note, I’d recommend Chung’s to close up that math score. You seem to be at a point that you could handle it. And, read a lot of books and only practice using reading passages by collegeboard until you get the hang of them. Make sure you learn why everything you got wrong was wrong and the strategies that they look for and the type of questions that are asked. You’re also going to need to know a ton of vocab. For that, I recommend Word Smart I&II and then Direct Hits. For grammar, flip the BB to the writing section where it lists the rules and learn those so you know them like the back of your hand.

Also, always be reading yourself on the side.

Through using those resources, you’ll gain a understanding of the test written by collegeboard and not a practice test company.

Hope that helps.

^^Me? What did I use for the reading? Last time I took it, nothing. Just the Blue Book. I got a 660 on it though. So I got Barron’s 2400 and Gruber’s Reading Workbook. I haven’t really used them much though, so I can’t comment on my success with them. We’ll see come the June test.

Princeton Review SAT book or the Kaplan SAT Premier book. I used both and was able to buy each, unused, at a thrift store! Before practicing with these books, my score was around 1650. After taking the SAT, my score went to 2250.

Here are some tips~
I practicing 5 times a week for about 2 hours a day. I would take the practice tests in thirds, spacing it out for three days. Once or twice a month I would sit down on a Saturday and take a practice test as if it was the actual test and I made sure to time myself appropriately.

Good luck!
