i want to major in psychology and/or biology.. i'm not quit sure which schools are good for that though.

i want to go to a ethnically diverse school, medium to large size.

Schools i'm looking at right now: Northwestern, Emory (legacy), University of Chicago
Safety: UGA
I’ve been looking at Cornell and UPenn, but those a probably way out of my reach.

Are these the schools I should be looking at?
I don’t know how to tell if I’m qualified…

Take a look at Washington University in St. Louis. U.S. News ranked it 12th in the country (tied with Cornell), though based on average SAT scores, its student body is comparable to Penn. It's medium sized, has got great facilities, really nice dorms, a very attractive campus, an excellent faculty, and has one of the best bio programs in the U.S. Your GPA and class rank would be competitive there, but you'd have to get your SAT scores up a bit (though the same would be true for all the schools you've listed).

haha weird. i was going to say WashU too.

thanks! :)

UPenn and Cornell are a stretch, but I'd say apply...you'll never know unless you do, and several people with your profile do get in. If you write good essays and have great rec's they're definitely a possibility.

so... just as long as i raise my SAT score, would i be a match for these schools and also wash u?

more input, please! thanks. :)

Get your rank to top 10 and your SAT up and you should apply to Darmouth, Brown, and even HYP [You never know][Your stats could be in their range if you improve and then its the essay and ECs that matter].

I'd also suggest Rice and Brown as matches.

thanks!

more input, please?

Try: UMich, UVA, Lehigh, NYU, BU/BC, Penn State

bump bump bump
