<p>Someone else recommended The Gun Seller, and I second it.</p>
<p>And this is such a girly response but Pride & Prejudice is one of my favorites ever. Austen's writing is magical. She somehow wraps you around her little finger and your emotions start to match those of the characters' which I think is the highest achievement an author can earn. </p>
<p>Also, The History Boys (which is a play) by Alan Bennett. So good, and very appropriate for those in the apps process. It really makes you think about learning and education, which sounds weird but is so valuable. </p>
<p>I also love love love the Sherlock Holmes series.</p>
