Recommendation From Professors

I’m applying to my university’s Honors College and I’m having a lot of difficulty coordinating a recommendation with a professor from my previous college.

I secured one recommendation with one professor, no problem at all. However, another professor was entirely willing but forgot to do it. I don’t live in the same city as this professor anymore and so it’s not possible to go in person and talk to this professor. I’ve been sending e-mails 1-2 times a week this month to this professor asking him to please submit his recommendation. It’s due March 1st. At first, he lost the submission form and wanted me to resend it (which I did). And then I’ve heard no more from him.

What should I do? I absolutely have to have this recommendation, but I’m not sure I can find another professor in time…

Send the recommendation form again and say “Hello, you might have lost this form, so I’m resending it so that you can finish it by the March 1st deadline.”
Time to find another possible recommender, too - if you have three recommendations, it’s better than 1.
