<p>I'm assuming that recommendation letters for this type of thing are maybe not as important as asking for one for grad school or an internship..But I'm still stressing out because I don't personally know ANY of my professors! I'm a quiet student who rarely speaks up in class because I generally understand the material. Besides, most of my classes are large lectures. </p>
<p>How should I go about this? I'm barely acquainted with my adviser, but could I possibly ask her? Or should I force myself to "get to know" some professors? It seems so awkward because I really have nothing to say to them. I'll probably just get generic responses anyway, so how important are these letters? How do I ask professors of large lectures--just give them a quick spiel about myself and tell them I got an A in their class??</p>
<p>I want to study abroad so so badly, but I'm worried that my 4.0 apparently isn't gonna cut it because of these LORs..such a bummer.</p>
