<p>Does NYU and other common application schools accept letters of recommendations outside of school? my son has interned during summer and his then employer would like to give him a recommendation. Will this be accepted and viewed favourably by the schools?</p>
<p>Yes, additional recs are fine at NYU. NYU lets you invite up to 4 recommenders through the common app account. Just add your employer as an additional ‘teacher’.</p>
