Recommendation wrote in FRENCH ! (MIT)

Hello,
I applied to MIT for regular decision. My teacher wrote a recommendation and I had it translated in english. However one of the sections when recommending someone asks for ‘MIT specific comments’. Without paying attention my teacher completed this section in french, since she doesn’t speak english. Is that a big deal ? Do they have a way to translate or will they simply ignore it ? Does it affect my application ?
Thanks

Haven’t you waived the right to see a teacher’s recommendation letter? If you have waived, then why did you read the recommendation letter?

@HardOREasy Didn’t translated it myself… Just asked my english teacher to do it.
Yes my sentence was not clear sorry

This only applies when you contact the college and ask to see the letters. However the author is free to show them to the student and as reported on this forum teachers sometimes do this
