recommendations and CPS stats

<p>My daughter is interested to know about teacher recommendations. who s/b asked ? how many? I think I read 2 somewhere. Is it ok to have 3 , or is this looked at poorly? she has a good relationship with a freshman english teacher . is it ok to have underclassman teachers?</p>

<p>My daughter applied for and was rejected for the CPS , the college prep shindig of qb earlier this yr. Can we reasonably assume that she'll not be accepted even as a finalist?
what are the stats of the CPS rejects becoming a finalist?</p>

<p>I would not advise getting a recommendation from a teacher she had freshman year unless that teacher taught her again. I don’t know if QB will allow three, but as long as each rec is strong and teaches the reader something new about her I see no issue with it. As for exact numbers none of us could tell you that (I don’t even think QB publishes those numbers). I do recommend carefully looking at her old app though and seeing where she could improve…</p>
